DFC has a keen interest in renewable energy, going back to the early 1980's when a DFC principal operated a solar hot water heating business in Colorado . We are actively seeking both conventional and project finance opportunities involving renewable energy, including:

• Landfill Gas

• Wind

• Tidal/Wave

• Geothermal

• Biodiesel

• Ethanol

• Hydro

Renewable energy projects may be financed using the same financing methods as conventional energy projects. Power Purchase Agreements and Gas Sales Agreements are acceptable mechanisms for project finance.
